Grandpa Herbert

I received some incredibly sad news this morning from Zach's dad, David.  He called to inform me that Zach's grandfather, Edward Herbert, has passed away.  I know without a doubt that Grandpa Herbert was prepared to go.  The part that upsets me more than anything is that I know for a fact that Zach wanted to be with the family in event of his grandfathers passing.  Unfortunately, the nature of the program Zach's in does not allow him to take leave.  In fact, I won't be able to tell Zach for a couple of weeks. Please keep the Herbert family in your thoughts.
