Baby Daxton,
I'm 22 weeks in this picture. We're more than 1/2 way there and you'll be in my arms before I know it. Ignore the "deer in the headlights" look on my face. This was taken after a very long, crazy weekend. We took a fun trip to southern Virginia and spent the day out on a boat with great friends from law school. I'm not sure if you appreciated all the rocking on the boat, because you decided to kick me pretty hard a couple of times that day.
I already love you more than you will ever know! You take my breath away everyday. Although, according to my pregnancy update that I received this week it might be because:
"Real estate within your belly is getting tight, with growing baby leaving little room for your lungs to...well...breathe. Expect the huffing and puffing to start soon. There's not much room for your belly button, either -- it'll pop out any day now."All of the above are true - I have started having a lot of trouble breathing and my belly button is doing a disappearing act.
Your daddy and I will sit around at night and talk about what you're going to be like when you get here. We're pretty sure you're going to have a full head of dark, curly hair. We know you'll be brilliant (like your mom - hehehehehe) and strong like your dad!
Your crib arrived this week, but we need to wait until dad gets some free time to help put it together. We also received the cutest Harley baby shirt and shoes for you. I can't wait to see how cute you look in them.
Love you so much,
Mommy

I love seeing that sweet belly get bigger! I think you're "just right" size wise. Who cares! Ah. I'm getting so excited about this little boy!
