Finally graduated from TBS (The Basic School)!!! 6 months of Basic Officer training in Quantico, VA. We learned all the basic skills required of a provisional rifle platoon commander. We were assigned duty stations near the end, and I got Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Another place I never would have seen. For graduation, we had an organized day for our families called "Warrior Day" where different displays showed our families what we have been doing for the last half-year. The best part was the rifle range. Jen shot a grenade launcher, machine gun and m16 service rifle.
