The Marines

More on choosing the hardest path: I just received my orders to report to Officer Candidate School (OCS) in Quantico, Virginia! I will go under a Law Contract, which means I'll eventually become a Judge Advocate in the Marine Corps.

I'll be leaving January 15 for 10 weeks of boot camp-style training. A candidate must make it through the 10 weeks before they will be offered a commission as an officer in the Marine Corps.

Don't worry, I'll be back in time for the Crawfish Boil.
