May was a little more relaxed....well, for Daxton and I. Zach really started to get busy with his new job.
The first big event in May was my first real Mother's Day! Zach made the entire weekend so special for me. On Saturday, Zach was so sweet and set me up with a pregnancy massage. It was so relaxing! On Sunday, we started out the day with breakfast in bed - my favorite. Then our plan was to go to a nearby lighthouse. I have wanted to visit a lighthouse forever. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate. It didn't matter. We still made the most of the day. We headed out to the "big city" and had lunch at a sidewalk cafe (made me think of the beautiful days in California and how much we enjoyed eating outside) and walked around to all the different shops. I was so tired from the long day, but was able to enjoy a Mother's Day nap. Here is the only picture I have from the day.
Here I am at 25 weeks pregnant with Aleah.
Daxton also turned 8 months old in May. Gah.......where does the time go? His big accomplishments this month: He started eating big kid food (goldfish, pancakes, yogurt melts, etc). He also started to crawl!! He goes everywhere now. He's lightening fast and chases Diesel around the house. Not only did he start crawling, but he started pulling up on everything within the same week. He went to the beach and the pool for the first time. He also started to get 3 teeth more teeth in on the top. He's going to have a mouth full of teeth before we know it.
